Meher Roshani Foundation with the Love of Beloved Avatar Meher Baba and the support from our MRF Hon. Heads we started Meher Baba’s Children Centre in March 2022. 

It was launched on 12th March 2022 through distribution of t-shirts, family ration and hygiene kits to 20 kids along with some stationary colours and colouring books. We have 3 laptops and show them Baba videos, songs, poems, educational cartoons, art applications etc. The kids get extra tutoring learning, healthy snacks/daily food, hygiene, tonic and medication, yoga, and learning through computer and fun playful ways to complement their ongoing school studies at the local School.

At regular intervals / replenishing time through the year they are given new clothes, bags, sandals, all stationery, art books, colours, toys, tricycles, baby scooters, puzzles, story books, general knowledge books, educational/fun games and more.

Daily they are being given nutritious food items for energy, and some days they are given some fun snacks to enjoy as children.

We have qualified local teachers and caregiver/cleaning/cooking local ladies along with our dear Hon. Heads of MRF Baba Lovers who run the whole Centre.

We have volunteers coming to teach them or tell stories in Hindi Marathi and some English too, or do some singing, dancing, puppetry etc. We have a Criket/Motivational coach who comes once a week. We constantly get the children prepared for performances etc. for different programs in the Meher Baba community and in Ahmednagar city.

We have dear Baba Lover, Caroline O’Hagan, our MRF Hon. Head for Rural Projects – Wellness and Environment, also at times teaching them Yoga.

We have the Garud Hospital run by the kind Garud Family in Ahmednagar as our kind Partners who conduct FREE Medical Camps for us at the Centre, for the children, our staff, and the parents. Mr. & Mrs. Garud the Founder and their Daughter Ajita an Ophthalmologist along with a Paediatrician conduct these camps along with their support doctors and nursing team. These also include an Eye check-ups. We also conducted some dental check-up camps. Medicines, Glasses and such prescribed items after all such camps are then bought and distributed to the parents and also trained in knowing what needs to be given when to the Children.
